An Empowerment Coach (EC) is a person from the participant’s family &/or circle of support. ECs are invited to:

You learn skills for self esteem, self expression & self love.

We ALL learn differently. CONNECT learning materials are developed to support diverse learning styles. Our materials are constantly evolving and we will modify teaching modalities and materials for your learning styles and preferences.

Learn and practice skills for connecting with your body through gentle mindfulness practices that are trauma sensitive and informed. CONNECT is also a Body Positive Program! All Bodies are beautiful, respected and celebrated!

Each individual will choose their own goals. Participation is a choice, and you can chose the things that are most important to you to learn about.

Learn what you want to learn! Meet online weekly with a Le Tusa Relationship Skills Coach. Review skills, watch videos, and explore resources for YOUR life. We will work with you to individualize your CONNECT program.

Learn with others in a fun, interactive, multi-method teaching style. Learn through discussions, expressive activities, role plays, videos, workbooks, visual materials, games and more.

Participants in the program can invite someone in their life, to be an Empowerment Coach (EC) This could be a parent, family member, caregiver, or a person in life that your life that you trust. The ECs are offered education and coaching workshops to reflect on their own relationship skills and to learn skills for how to empower and support participants with their boundaries, friendships, emotional regulation & dating skills.

YES! We recognize that when consent, boundaries and relationships are discussed, someone in the room is likely a trauma survivor. We will individualize the CONNECT program with you and support your learning with trauma sensitive and informed practices.

CONNECT is a program that is vendored by Golden Gate Regional Center. If you receive regional center services you can participate in the CONNECT program. Contact your social worker and request a referral to the CONNECT program.

If you participate in a Self-Determination Plan (SDP), you may be able to participate in CONNECT Program through your monthly budget. View the CONNECT Budget Cost for more information.

You can sign up or make a referral for CONNECT at anytime. When you sign up, you will be automatically added to the waitlist. We open the waitlist in May and November for programs & will contact you then!
